Black pepper is produced from the pepper plant, this black pepper is green in color before unripe. In this world, black pepper is not only available, some other color pepper is also available such as red pepper, white pepper, green pepper and pink pepper. Food is playing a vital role in the health of the human being. There are several different types of food items present in this world, each and every food item having its own taste.

Every food item provides health benefits to the human body. In this article, we will see one of the most important food items in human being’s day today. This is the most valuable food item in ancient times. Lots of kings and royal people are adding this food item in their daily food diet, because of its anti-poisoning properties. Yes, that food item name called “Black pepper”

The native of Black pepper South Asia and Southeast Asia, and it has been known to Indian cooking since at least 2000 BC. In 2020, Vietnam was the world’s largest producer and exporter (producing 270,192 tonnes or 36% of the world total). Some other major producers of black pepper are Brazil, Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, China, and Malaysia. Around the world the most widely traded spice is peppercorn, accounting for 20% of all spice imports.

One tablespoon of ground black pepper contains moderate amounts of vitamin K, iron, and manganese, with enough amounts of other essential nutrients, protein, and dietary fiber.

  • Antioxidants: The main compound present in it is alkaloid piperine, this is mostly contributing to the health benefits of the human body, including providing antioxidant properties. 
  • Anti-inflammatory: Black pepper also contains anti-inflammatory properties. According to paper published on Black Pepper in national library of medicine: it has anti-inflammatory effects, when combined with turmeric and ginger, had anti-inflammatory effects on the same level.

  • Good for Skin care: The ‘King of Spices’; black pepper is a best natural remedy for boosting the skin health. Many of them said it prevents skin pigmentation (Vitiligo). While facing this health issue, people’s skin appears white and this is also called white patches. Some medicine products available in the pharmacy market to restore skin color. It protects the skin from any sort of skin pigmentation and maintains the original color of skin. Regularly consuming it helps to overcome the wrinkles in the skin surface. It also avoids premature ageing and eliminates dark spots in the skin.
  • People can take this spice in the raw or cooked form and it is good enough for rejuvenating their skin. If people are suffering from acne, then using the try it, this will help their skin flush away the intoxicants in it and smoothen it. People should apply the pepper paste by just crushing some black pepper and applying it over their skin and surely they will find the difference.
